Hookers For Jesus, Founder
Annie Lobert is a wife, speaker, author, entrepreneur, thought leader, advocate for the abused, non-profit founder and CEO) and a survivor of more than a decade of sex trafficking in Hawaii, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas.
She is known for being one of the first women to openly speak about her experiences in being sex trafficked, and one of the first to start a non-profit outreach and safe house to help victims of abuse as a survivor-leader.
In 2003, after a serious drug overdose and an epiphany, Annie began her personal journey of healing and recovery to emotional, physical, and spiritual wholeness.
It was her heart mission to go back and reach the ladies she had left behind who were working in Las Vegas as victims of exploitation. From that desire, Hookers For Jesus was born.
Frozen, the 53rd Disney animated feature film, was released in 2013. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s 1844 fairy tale, “The Snow Queen,” Frozen tells the story of Queen Elsa and her sister, Princess Anna.
The story is about love and redemption but requires letting go of the past and embracing the future. The song, “Let It Go” helps to further that narrative and finds Queen Elsa embracing who she is and shutting the door on any naysayers also.
The song was performed in its original show-tune version in the film by American actress and singer Idina Menzel in her vocal role as Queen Elsa. It was also released as a single ulltimately reaching number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
