Emperor Of Sand
(2017)
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:10-12

BROTALITY
Reece, Bryce, & Liam
BROTALITY is a band formed by two brothers and a friend based on faith, love & heavy music!!! We embrace the brutality of being counter-culture in today’s society.
With tight songwriting, muscular vocals, and crushing riffs in abundance, Brotality has created a dynamic force worthy of carrying forward the Heavy Metal moniker. They cite Mastodon and Megadeth as influences, and it won’t take long for anyone who listens to their music to be smacked in the face with an undeniable old-school sensibility.
Mastodon, an American metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, was formed in 2000. The band’s founding members were heavily influenced by several bands, including the Melvins, Neurosis, Iron Maiden, and Thin Lizzy. To date, they have released seven studio albums.
The concepts and lyrics found on Emperor of Sand are personal and reflective. The album is not literal, but laced within the words are the story of a person fighting to survive (according to Brann Dailor, the band’s percussionist, the struggle is against cancer.)
“We’re reflecting on mortality. To that end, the album ties into our entire discography. It’s 17 years in the making, but it’s also a direct reaction to the last two years. We tend to draw inspiration from very real things in our lives.” – Troy Sanders, bassist, vocals
“Word To The Wise”
song lyrics:
Diamond in the wishing well
Falling underneath the spell
Save me from the wicked waves
Pulling me with all, its weight
High above the silver line
Flying over burning ground
Ringing bells of golden chains
Resonating with the sound
Siren sounding
I didn’t hear it
Traveling within the mind
No one across the line
Found the one I’d never sell
One I thought I’d never find
Searching through the laser field
Feeling where the light is from
Always picking of the bone
Come away into our home
Siren sounding
I didn’t hear it
Voices bond
Hide not heal it
I’d fallen into a pit of lies
I try to dig around the other side
And much to my surprise
I was to blame for all the rain
I’d fallen into a pit of lies
I try to dig around the other side
And much to my surprise
I was to blame for all the rain
I was to blame for all the rain

Salting The Wound has reached #5 on the Loud charts and is a hard-hitting song about pain, despair, and darkness – but points to hope – a way out by focusing on HIM and patiently persisting through the storm.
Have you accepted Christ as your Savior?
If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, please pray the following prayer:
“God, I believe in you and your son Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave to save me. Today, I invite Jesus into my heart to stay. I make you Lord over my life. Make me new. Wash me, Lord, and cleanse me. In Jesus Name, Amen”
If you have just prayed that prayer, we want to celebrate your new victory with you. Please contact us at prayers@oceanfloorministries.com so we can welcome you into the kingdom. We don’t want you to have to walk alone and we have some resources we would like the opportunity to share with you.
